The site itself is static on Cloudflare’s edge: no server, no database, and every plan lives in a link a family can reopen anywhere. Small Workers handle the live parts: a four-email countdown before graduation plus a post-grad invite to share a family story, real hotel prices with taxes included, current Google ratings pulled only when someone opens a hotel, and the photo pipeline behind the family stories. A service worker keeps it all working offline at JBSA-Lackland, where signal is spotty. It costs almost nothing to run.
